Placer County Chipper Program

Placer County RCD manages Placer County's Chipper Program, providing curbside chipping service to reduce fire hazards and convert large burn piles to small biodegradable chips. Costs for the service are paid by homeowners or, in some cases, with grants or county funds.

Red Sesbania
